Wear some clean jeans rather than wearing your usual pair. If you can, try to take a cat nap during your lunch break. Also, if you use caffeine, gradually sip away at it over the course of the day rather than bingeing on it first thing in the morning to avoid crashing. Feeling clean can give you a very big psychological lift. Get a bag of mixed nuts and dried fruit to snack on all day. Have multiple showers, clean your teeth more than twice a day and do it really thoroughly, make sure your hair is very clean if you don't usually wash it every day, etc. Even on a cloudy day you'll get several dozen times more light than if you stay inside in a brightly lit room (unless you have one of those special lamps). If you are just doing this to reset your sleeping pattern and don't need to do anything, spend all day outside. And it works better than caffeine and no nap. By the time the 45 minutes is over the caffeine has started to work and you wake up feeling a lot more refreshed (or you get refreshed quicker after waking) than a non-caffeine nap. Take as many caffeine pills as would make you very energetic normally, then as soon as you put down the glass of water, turn on the timer for 45 minutes at MOST, and immediately lie down and close your eyes.
